    Harry Potter: The Exhibition will make its final US stop at the Pacific Science Center in Seattle, Washington this fall. This exhibition offers 10,000 square feet of costumes, and props from the film series. Visitors will be able to see recreations of some of the film sets, such as the Gryffindor common room, the Great Hall, and Hagrid’s hut. Families on the West Coast may want to check into one of the nearby Seattle hotels to provide their kids this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to explore their favorite film.

    More than 200 props and costumes will be on display, including the Marauder’s Map, Harry’s original eyeglasses and wand as well as Yule Ball costumes and Gryffindor school uniforms. Other items on display will be the Sorcer’s stone and Lord Voldemort’s robes. In conjunction with the pending release of the two-part finale of the series, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows, the exhibit will showcase items from the movie and a special IMAX screening of Part 1 will take place at the Science Center on November 19th. Interactive areas permit visitors to toss a Quaffle in the Quidditch area, pull a Mandrake in Herbology, and encounter an Acromantula spider as well as Buckbeak the Hippogriff.

    The exhibit runs from October 23, 2010 thru January 30, 2011. Patrons must purchase a separate timed-entry ticket to the exhibition in addition to regular admission tot he Science Center. Tickets can be purchased online or at the Pacific Science Center box office.
